Welcome to my channel, “best places in the world” via videos. Thinking about moving to Australia? Today, I will speak about best places to live in Australia,
Australia is a country, and continent, surrounded by the Indian and Pacific oceans.
The country is known for its Sydney Opera House, Great Barrier Reef, the vast Outback (interior desert wilderness) and unique animal species including kangaroos and duck-billed platypuses.
Choosing where you want to live in Australia is not straightforward. Australia is a big place, as if you didn’t know. Australia has big cities, it has small towns. It has beautiful beaches and it has barren outback. Australia also has a good selection of islands.
Reasons why you should move to Australia:
– Australia has one of the lowest air pollution levels in the world.
– Australia has a large variety of beautiful natural ecosystems. We have golden sandy beaches with clean water, tropical rainforests.
– Australia has the lowest population density of any continent in the world with only 6.4 people per square mile.
– Australia has a temperate climate with mild weather all year round and more than its fair share of sunshine.
– Australia has one of the most efficient healthcare systems in the world. Medicare provides basic health cover for all Australians and there is a private healthcare system as well.
– Australians pride themselves on perfecting a work-life balance. With a strong economy and low unemployment rate (around 5%) Australia is a good place to find a new job.
– Australia is such a vast country that you can spend all your holidays exploring it. Domestic travel has it all from rainforests, beaches, to ski-resorts and stunning ancient landscapes.
– Australia has an impressive number of study options for international students with more than 1,200 institutions and 22,000 courses to choose from. Australia has the third highest number of international students in the world behind the UK and US even though we have a much smaller population than those countries.
If you can, it’s worthwhile arranging temporary accommodation in Australia before you arrive. Renting a serviced apartment could be a good idea as it can give you the comforts of home before your belongings arrive.
Once you’re on the ground in Australia, take some time to work out where you’d like to live. One of the best ways to do this is to take a stroll around the neighbourhoods that you think you might want to live in.
